tion, regarding an episode of Cop Rock that Local dealt with "outing" a city official. Allstate reacted with a letter to Capital Cities/ABC stating its agreement with "family values."

Later, Allstate Vice President John Flieder clarified the company's position by saying the objection was to graphic sexual content within the show, not the sensitive depictions of gay people.

tee meetings of the Food and Drug Administration. NGLTF Lesbian and Gay Health Lobbyist Belinda Rochelle expressed "serious reservations about the data and the conclusions of the survey" and cautioned people of color with HIV from "misinterpreting" the study.
